Cirque Du Soleil asked us to help them promote their newest show, OVO. The name “OVO” is Portuguese for “egg” and is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement. We brought a taste of the show to the famous St.Patrick’s Day Parade in Baton Rouge, where we had an entire float dedicated to the Cirque crew in their characters. The OVO presence during the parade generated press coverage from local publications and newspapers and inspired kids and adults alike to go see the show.
Because it connotes an importance in the preservation of ecosystems and environmental issues, we sought every Eco-friendly organization and blog in our area to promote the show and invited them to present their take on the environmental issues presented on the show.
OVO’s audience attendance was outstanding and it was well received by the general public and media sources.
